Less than a month ago I was invited to start to attending a new segment in my ongoing treatment, they call this segment “Group voice-therapy“. We’re told everything that happens within those sessions should remain completely confidential. This is to allow us to experiment with confidence. So unlike all my previous session, there will not be any audio attachments to these posts.
1st Session: Thursday 2nd July 2015 @ 2-4pm
2nd Session: Thursday 6th August 2015 @ 2-4pm
3rd Session: Thursday 3rd September 2015 @ 2-4pm
4th Session: Thursday 1st October 2015 @ 2-4pm
5th Session: Thursday 5th November 2015 @ 2-4pm
6th Session: Thursday 3rd December 2015 @ 2-4pm
My first session took place on 2nd July 2015
All session will take place at the Charing Cross GIC, London with the infamous Matthew Mills.
The group consists of a handful of existing clients who have successfully completed their solo sessions and now wish to progress on to more advance sessions. From my understanding, these sessions are an addition and not required to be fulfill by every client.
Sooo.. for the next six months we engage in several oral learning sessions, giving each of us the opportunity learn from one another. In return, we’re to give each one another constructive criticisms.
The aim of those session is to give us more practice, help outline any troubled areas, get feedback how to correct them and advance forward. Help is at hand for those who have identified issues in speech. Problem solve weak points, so we understand what may need more work. Month by month they plan to have a different topic covering everything from answering calls to public speaking etc.
I feel very privileged to be surround with so many talented professionals, all here to help us gain a better quality of life.
